春に企画招聘されたスケールに従った冬の制作は、黒胡桃材を使用した9つの立体作品となった。素材本来の持つ性質として感じ取れるボリュームは、やはり家具的なスケールであると感じつつも、切り出された潔い平面性に頷きつつ、愉しみながら切り出し、組み立て、研くのだった。
The winter production, which followed the scale of the project invited in the spring, resulted in nine three-dimensional works made of black walnut wood. Although the volume, which can be felt as an inherent property of the material, felt like it was on a furniture-like scale, I enjoyed cutting, assembling, and polishing the pieces, nodding to the pure flatness of the pieces.
